2015 Academic Advisory Committee Meeting and the 20th Anniversary Reception of CCAP Successfully Held in Italy

On August 12th, 2015, admist the 29th International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) 2015 Conference, CCAP’s Academic Advisory Committee (AAC) Meeting and the 20th Anniversary Reception was held in Milan, Italy. Ten members of the AAC from six countries attended this reception. Along with 13 faculty and graduate students, more than 50 alumni, collaborators and friends of CCAP attended the event. The meeting clearly demonstrated CCAP’s wide network and recognition on its achievements and development since the last AAC meeting in 2012 during the 28th IAAE conference in Brazil.

Professor Jikun Huang, director of CCAP, opened the meeting with welcoming all the participants to the reception. He then briefly introduced the development and achievements of CCAP over the past 20 years, as well as the plan for the future. He concluded his speech by expressing gratitude, on behalf of the entire CCAP, to AAC members, alumni, collaborators and friends for their continuous support and help to CCAP. At the end of the meeting, Professor Scott Rozelle from Stanford University, the chairman of CCAP’s Academic Advisory Committee Committee, acknowledged the tremendous achievements that CCAP has made over the 20 years. He also expressed gratitude to all AAC members, alumni, collaborators and friends for their continuous support and help to CCAP.
