Dr. Beryl Leach, Deputy Director of the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3IE) visited CCAP

Dr. Beryl Leach, Deputy Director of the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3IE) visited CCAP during May 21-28. The main purpose of her visit was to understand the status of the 3IE-funded projects being conducted by the Rural Education Action Program (REAP) under CCAP. During her visit, a brief introduction of projects that REAP has been conducting with funding from 3IE was jointly provided by Professor Linxiu Zhang (deputy director of CCAP and director of REAP in China), Dr. Renfu Luo (an associated professor at CCAP), Professor Scott Rozelle (Stanford University, also director of REAP in the USA), and Mr. Matt Boswell (project manager of REAP). Moreover, Dr. Leach also paid visits to REAP’s collaborators in Beijing, Henan and Shaanxi provinces. Dr. Leach congratulated on CCAP’s research achievements, and expressed the hope that the cooperation between CCAP and 3IE would continue.
