Wang Bin, Deputy Director General of the Department of Policy and Reform of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was invited to give a special lecture at Peking University

On the morning of April 7, 2023, Wang Bin, Deputy Director General of the Department of Policy and Reform of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was invited to the School of Modern Agriculture of Peking University to give a special report titled "Review and Thoughts on the Development of Rural Collective Economy". This report was hosted by Yi Hongmei, vice president of the Institute of New Rural Development of Peking University, and attended by more than 30 people, some of the key teachers and students of the School of New Agriculture.

Deputy Director Wang Bin introduced in detail the development history of China's rural collective economy from the stage of agricultural cooperativization, the stage of people's commune to the initial formation of the system of unification and division, and the consolidation and enhancement of the two-tier management system, and elaborated in depth on the reform of China's rural collective property right system from 2016 to 2021. Combined with the connotation and characteristics of the new rural collective economy, Director Wang shared a few thoughts on the functional positioning of the new rural collective economy and the difficulties facing the development of the new rural collective economy. At the same time, on the issues of policies and systems related to rural collective economy, Director Wang introduced the next work plan.

During the Q&A session, the participating teachers and students asked questions enthusiastically, and Mr. Wang gave detailed answers to the hot issues such as industrial and commercial capital investment in the field of agriculture.
