Prof. Huang Ji-kun led a team to visit Cixi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park of Zhengda Group

From April 24th to 25th, 2023, Prof. Huang Jikun, President of  New Rural Development Institute,Peking University (NRDI), led a team to visit and investigate Cixi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park of CZG, accompanied by Prof. Wang Jinxia, Director of CCAP, Peking University, Prof. Sheng You, Associate Dean of NRDI, and Prof. Wang Yue, Researcher of Peking University's School of Advance Agriculture. Yang Qidong, Director of the Administrative Committee of Cixi Modern Agricultural Park, Xue Zengyi, Senior Vice Chairman of the Agricultural and Food Enterprises China of CZG, and Prof. He Yupeng, Chief Economist of CZG China, and other relevant leaders accompanied the visit.

On April 24, the delegation visited Cixi Modern Agricultural Industrial Park, Cixi Cixi Industrial Development Center, and inspected the Chengtai Chunfeng Blue Bay Project, Chengtai Ecological Planting Demonstration Site, Chengtai Gurui Mechanical & Electrical Co.

On the morning of April 25th, the delegation had a discussion and exchange with the main leaders of Cixi Modern Agricultural Park Management Committee, Cixi Agricultural Bureau, Zhengda Group and other units. First of all, Mr. Yang Qidong, Director of the Administrative Committee of Cixi Modern Agricultural Park, and Mr. Fang Yunhua, Deputy Director of Cixi Agricultural Bureau, introduced the experience of the development of the park and the effectiveness of the agricultural development in Cixi respectively. Finally, Prof. Huang Jikun had an in-depth communication and discussion with relevant leaders on the future long-term development direction of Cixi Modern Agricultural Park, which laid a good foundation for the next step of cooperation between the two sides.
