Prof. K.K. Huang was invited to participate in the 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum

Tengchong Scientists Forum is co-sponsored by Academician Gu Binglin, former President of Tsinghua University, Academician Xu Zhihong, former President of Peking University, and Academician Rao Zihe, former President of Nankai University, and is co-sponsored by the People's Government of Yunnan Province and the China Association for Science and Technology. 2023 Tengchong Scientists Forum, with the theme of "Science and Green Development", was held in Tengchong, Yunnan Province, from December 1 to 3, gathering more than 100 academicians, more than 20 world-renowned university presidents, more than 500 experts and scholars at home and abroad, as well as more than 300 heads of enterprises and financial institutions.

Mr. Huang Jikun, President of New Rural Development Institute Peking University, and Ms. Hou Lingling, Researcher of Peking University, were invited to attend the sub-forum on "Biodiversity Conservation and Modern Agricultural Development". The forum was chaired by Academician Xu Zhihong, focusing on the construction of China's ecological civilization, and the participants carried out in-depth exchanges around the synergistic development of biodiversity conservation and sustainable use of biological resources and the construction of the National Botanical Garden.
