Digital Countryside Research Group Goes to Shanghai He Ma Base for Research

On December 11th, Professor Huang Jikun, Professor of Peking University's School of Advanced Agriculture and Director of New Rural Developmen Institute , led a team to the Shanghai He Ma base for research. 11th morning, the team firstly talked with Chen Dan, head of the He Ma Industry Research Institute, to understand how He Ma's "new retail" model can help revitalize the countryside industry and the layout of He Ma Village across the country. Afterwards, they investigated the Alin Organic Farm in Jinshan Boxmart Village and had a discussion with the person in charge of the farm, in which both sides discussed the similarities and differences between the "new retail" supply channel and the traditional supply chain of agricultural products, as well as the impact of digital technology on the production methods of the upstream suppliers.

In the afternoon, the group visited the He Ma Haihangtou Industrial Base and carried out in-depth exchanges with the person in charge of He Ma Haihangtou Hub. Both sides discussed how to achieve high-quality development of the agricultural industry around the assumption of agricultural brand, local industry drive, industry chain optimization and production technical support and other aspects.

      Professor Yi Hongmei, vice president of  New Rural Developmen Institute, postdoctoral researchers He Xu and Hu Wen, and Zuo Chenming, deputy director of Amoy Group's research center and director of the Rural Revitalization Research Center, participated in the whole research.
