Asian Development Bank Institute Visits School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, PKU for Exchange Activities

On the afternoon of April 16, 2024, Tetsushi Sonobe, Director of the Asian Development Bank Institute (ADBI), led a team to visit the School of Modern Agriculture at Peking University for exchange and cooperation. The entourage also included Hiroshi Takami, Director of Administration of ADBI, and Yao Yixin, Senior Researcher. Dean Huang Jikun, Professor Wang Jinxia, Professor Yi Hongmei, Associate Professor Hou Lingling, and Dr. He Xu of School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, PKU participated in the exchange meeting.

On behalf of School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, PKU , Prof. Huang Jikun firstly extended a warm welcome to the ADBI delegation and introduced in turn the organizational structure and development of School of Advanced Agricultural Sciences, PKU, China Center for Agricultural Policy , and New Rural Development Institute(INRD). Afterwards, Director Tetsushi Sonobe introduced the development process, organizational structure and business activities of ADBI. Finally, the two sides exchanged views on areas of future cooperation.
