Research Team of Kaixing Huang Conducts AI-Supported Rural Education RCT in Shanxi

Recently, the research team led by Kaixing Huang from  School of Advanced Agriculture Science of Peking University, in collaboration with the School of Economics and Finance at Xi’an Jiaotong University, conducted the first-round intervention of a randomized controlled trial (RCT) on AI-assisted rural education in Shaanxi Province. The study applies rigorous RCT methods to evaluate the potential effectiveness of AI in narrowing the urban–rural education gap.

More than ten graduate students and research assistants from Peking University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, and Renmin University of China participated in this field study.
